James kickstarted his career by achieving a first-class Bachelors Degree with Honours in Business & Management from Falmouth University in Cornwall. James still enjoys spending time surfing and running in Cornwall.
In 2021, James went on to become the youngest Enterprise Mentor in London at the time for the King’s Trust, where he helped young Entrepreneurs build their businesses for just under 3 years.
He went on to achieve a Distinction in his Paraplanner apprenticeship with the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education whilst working at The Giust Practice of St. James’s Place Wealth Management as an Apprentice from 2021 to 2024.
Following the successful completion of his Apprenticeship, James joined Jarrovian Wealth in May 2024 to carry out Financial Planning to a broad range of clients.
James then founded Valerie’s Financial Services Ltd in 2025 to offer holistic Financial Advice to clients in Cornwall and London.
James is currently undergoing Royal Marine Reserves training and spends his spare time playing chess, cricket and running, having completed 6 marathons. James is currently trying to cull down his personal best of 3 hours and 9 minutes, with the goal of beating the 3-hour mark. He enjoys spending time with his family and Belgian Malinois, Bella, and reading.
